Defying the New World Order
I’ve posted a page on the Jeremiah Project titled, “A Christian Patriot Action Plan to Resist the New World Order” that outlines some practical steps we can take to defy the New World Order and remove our consent from a godless government running roughshod over Christians. I commend Kentucky county clerk Kim Davis for taking a stand on her deeply held religious belief.
We should resist laws that are wrong knowing there are consequences for civil disobedience.
Kentucky county clerk Kim Davis has been sent to jail for refusing to sign off on same-sex marriage certificates. She claims her Christian faith prevents her from doing so. “My conscience will not allow it,” Davis said. “God’s moral law convicts me and conflicts with my duties.”
Davis was ordered to issue the licenses by Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear following the Supreme Court ruling in favor of marriage equality, but she’s steadfastly refused to comply with the law. A federal judge also instructed Davis to issue the licenses after four couples sued her for refusing to serve them. Davis appealed the decision to both the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court, but lost each time. This week Davis defied the Supreme Court ruling, leading to the contempt of court charge.
At the root of this issue is the Federal Government requiring States to recognize homosexual marriage. Despite the fact the U.S. Supreme Court has ruled on this issue, I don’t believe the Federal government has jurisdiction here and it’s up to the individual states to set their own rules (10th Amendment) concerning marriage. Actually, I don’t agree that even the states should be involved in the marriage contract as it is between the individuals involved and God.
The Bible defines marriage as between a man and a woman, and yes, the Bible condemns homosexuality. If the Bible is the word of God and all that it says is true, then Kim Davis is correct. When we begin to accept man’s law over God’s law, well… we’re in allot of trouble.
Matt Walsh writes, “Gay “marriage” is itself nothing but the will of the elites. It is as much a legal abomination as a moral one. Many people have said, “Well, gay ‘marriage’ is the law of the land, so that’s that,” but what they mean is, “Well, five people in Washington support gay ‘marriage,’ so that’s that.” No, that isn’t that. That’s tyranny. That’s injustice. That’s illegal. It might be true that the Supreme Court has, over time, seized the power to write laws and reshape ancient human institutions according to their radical liberal ideologies, but that doesn’t make it law. It might be “law,” but it isn’t law. Just as gay “marriage” might be “marriage,” but it can never be marriage. The whole thing is a travesty, a sham, an outrage.
So are we morally obligated to cooperate with the evil agendas and the rampant tyrannies of the federal government? Is a clerk in Kentucky, elected by the people of her county and subject to the Constitution of her state, morally required to respect the drunken dictates of judicial activists in Washington? Kim Davis says no. And I think it might be time for the rest of us to come to that same conclusion.”
All persons, including Kim Davis, convicted under corrupted legislation and therefore wrongfully imprisoned should be released immediately and the judges (District Court Judge David Bunning) who unlawfully condemned and sentenced them shall take their places in prison and personally, from their own funds, not the state purse, compensate the offended persons for their wrongful imprisonment.
This is just another incremental step toward setting up the Antichrist’s New World Order. If the U.S. Supreme Court rules that it is the law of the land for everyone to take the mark of the beast in order to buy or sell, would you comply?
