For those who don't accept it, there could be a revival of religious persecution, he said. A Middle East peace agreement may be reached this year. This fulfills the 'confirmation of the covenant,' allowing for a shared arrangement of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, and signifying the beginning of the final 7 years to Armageddon, he stated. Baxter said the Holy Roman Empire is on the verge of reforming (an EU President could be elected this year)— and the Antichrist will come from there.
