And what is power to you exactly? If not money, what makes a person powerful in today's world? You say he can do damage because he's a part of a group. What gives that group power? I'd have to say it's everyone believing money is power, not necessarily the money itself. It still doesn't change the fact that as long as people believe money represents value, it will be power and give the holder of the most money the most influence.
