That's utterly wrong. Whatever country you were raised in becomes your nationality. If you were raised in America and have one eighth Native American blood that would obviously make you an American with Native American ancestory. People are simply not responsible for what their ancestors did and saying that "Europeans or people of European ancestory are evil because people from the 17th century owned slaves" is the very definition of slavery and stupidity.
