Most likley the forces of the jet going upwards at that pace would of mostley ended the engines staling,but if it didnt people might of survived

I don't think that it was flying at 500 mph i have no clue on the imperial system but that would me around 800 kmh but this video said it was traveling about 600 kmh so the forces would not have been that tremendous

As horribly reconstructed as this video seems I would expect this is how it happened.This aircraft would have been travelling at over 500mph and hitting the less dense air at over 300, introuducing a flat surface to anything like would build up a lot of force.

I appreciate the way the way this programme really demonstrates what happened in the mechanics of the plane, but i don't like those first few seconds in this clip... it seems a bit too sexed up and insensitive... ...and this is from a person who watches it on YouTube
