I'm from Greensburg. I grew up there, and my mom grew up there. My grandma is a teacher at the school. I do believe God was with us.

I feel so bad for these people of this city. Half of them have left the town for good.

God was completey protecting those people and that baby. Bad things happen....but I think through all of it God is telling us, "Come to me. " We need him and so many people don't want to admit it...but we do. We have to choose HIM on our own....and I think when bad things happen in life...HE is saying,"wake up!!" These bad things can pull us closer to Him...

Ultimatums like "you are with god or you are with the devil" only strengthen my belief that most people are religious purely from fear!I dont choose god OR the devil! Neither exist, so it is moot anyways...Oh and I don't have a PHD in theology but I'm pretty sure that the God of the old Testament and the God of the New Testament are the SAME damn God (haha, damn god... goddamn I'm funny!)

Well you see Welshy, the others I have conversed with here I genuinly felt like engaging in conversation. YOU however are another matter! Discussions are for people who can make points and counter-arguements. Bitter sarcasm is all you have and its so powerful I can taste it. So I will continue to engage with the people on this board worth my time; you however deserve and will get nothing from me but immature jokes at your expense...Fatty!

What you have been writing about was the O-Testament. God never wanted to devastate people. When you read such things in the O-Testament it was always a last and bitter act for the people who He loved and who turned away from Him again and again and again. God wants to be with us, as He was in the beginning. But when we choose to be away from Him we choose the Devil. I know exactly that there is no golden mean! I know Jesus Christ for almost 20 years now. I am 25.Sorry for react this long. :) |
