Hey does anyone know if Silvertein Demolition Inc., is still running their 3 for 1 deal. Three buildings for the price of one? I'm looking for a good demo team. Back in 2001 they had this special going, just wondering if I can still use it.

"LHO do you still support the unfounded claim that "about 25 percent of the depth of the building was scooped out." I had READ about 1/3 deep into the bldg previously. If that's wrong, so be it.I really have no way of knowing.Makes no difference.The collapse of 7 was expected by the FDNY pros on the scene also confirmed with a structural engr.His collapse time estimate was only off by fifteen minutes more or less.

no damage from the towers affected 7Wow NONE?Want to check that?The bldg's south face was impacted all the way to the roof and definitely worse at it's base.Theres excellent vid of it in the New York Ric Burns doc from PBS.The base is where it failed.

the gas fueled the fire for a while and then the furnishings started to burn and when u look at different angles u see debris hit the wtc7 and firemen and police reported that it was severly damged on the southeast corner the fires soon spread over the building while on the lower floors such as 9 and 13 had uncontrollable fires

"expsosed to the fires for 7 hours and being"--there is not enough fuel to keep it in one area for 30 min. let alone several hours, no damage from the towers affected 7, the curtain wall that was leaning, is not part of the suporting structure of 7....NIST says it fell due only to "office fire"...NIST says it has photos that show an inferno blazin'.... and again, like the other report, they refuse to release information...like the pics they say they have...yea...ok

it did lean to the south but wtc7 was designed in a unigue way from the 7th floor up there are 3 main supports that hold the tower being expsosed to the fires for 7 hours and being damged the support that was near the south east corner buckled thats y 8 seconds before the collapse a portian of the penthouse on top collpased 8 seconds later the 2 other truses couldnt bare the wieght they collpased together and the tower without its main supports collpased thats y u see it fall so fast

"This time maybe look into how the building was designed as that played the most important role affecting the collapse"--why don't you tell us how one column is going to lead to all the rest falling at the same time, NIST doesn't..how do they do that without severing the connections....you know there is no fires to do anything to the steel...
