It looks like Lou sure had people fooled by the looks of the comments. This guy was always a plant, just like O'Reilly, and Anderson Cooper. He just plays lip service to the NAU so he can reel in the ones that know about it and later he supports the first major step for the NAU (national/standardized ID) heh. He exposed himself quite nicely.

Come on Lou, some things you say make sense but this is not one of them. Real ID is a national ID. 'Papers please' sounds like Nazi Germany to me and I will be damned if I dont stand up against garbage like that. The reason the ACLU and the NRA joined up against this is because they both see his will lead down a road no true citizen wants. This card is unconstitutional plain and simple.

He says, "legally and constitutionally, it's a State ID." Then why in the world are you going to need your REAL ID CARD (STATE ID) to enter any federal building in the U.S.? Why are you going to need your STATE ID to drive a car, board a plane, train, or bus in any of the 50 states? Why are you going to need a STATE ID to leave the country? Why will you need a STATE ID to collect your social security when you just recently moved to Florida to live out your retirement?DON'T FALL FOR THE LIES!

IT'S A NATIONAL ID CARD! At 3:09, Zimmer states it's not a natl id card because it's not produced by the fed govt, rather state govt. This is deceiving because it is a Federal Mandate passed to the 50 states to comply with. The 50 states are going to create the REAL IDs and they will all look the same & be readable in every state, also the European Union, Canada, and later, Mexico. All the databases will be linked together. The more accurate term would be to call this an International ID Card!!!

Lou Dobbs is a puppet. I used to respect him. He was against this crap a year ago. I'm guessing someone in power threatened him. He looked like he was biting his tongue.

The ask a person in canada for his papers and he hands them a Ohio id they will have no idea what that ohio id should look like in canada. Without a standard amongst all our states and countries in North America stopping other oversea's citizens from creating a fake ID from an obscure state in the US and hopping over to Canada would be simple and a logistical nightmare for those running the North America Union.
