human nature DOES exist. the human mind is no clear picture but it is understood that most behavior is either learned, or instinctive. i agree that the majority of behavior is learned, but even learned behavior takes root in instinct. maybe at one unknown point in history human nature was nonexistent, but i am fairly sure that our instincts(nature) are ingrained in our DNA. even if instincts are learned in the womb, the will to survive is present even before you hit the egg... human nature.

They only enforce rights if the common people let them. Our constitution says "By the people, and for the people". In truth, we should be the one's who decide, let that not be a mistake. The people are the ones who made the govt and are the ones who can and will control it. A new era is upon us in the years ahead when it is families and people, not corporations and high-ranks, whom control the laws and outcomes like it should be.

We are connected to all, you know of this. There is more to the connection too. Every heart has its feeling that seems to be direct to Spirit.Brain is direct to Mind.Body is the physical essence and our Soul is our inner essence, and through mind body connects to Spirit, the Soul by meditation, prayer, praise, and enlightenment. Would you agree to this? I seek no argument with you, I simply like your end comment of connection, it is the philosophy I teach too. to pleiadians777 comment

I agree with your perspective that everyone has basic needs which should be met but because some governments don't have rights instated to protect those needs, I don't think its the proper term when talking about ethical universals like liberty, food, shelter, etc. Not to say these should not be rights for all of humanity
Fanatic4FreeThought (December 31, 1969 at 11:59 pm)
I disagree, all societies may not respect rights, but these rights are an inherit part of being a human being. We are naturally hardwired to desire these rights, regardless of social norms, though sometimes environmental influences can overwhelm this natural desires.Take for example a slave. Even if a slave is enslaved from birth and is expected to accept their place they may still naturally desire liberty.

Those which you consider "rights" are your subjective viewpoints of rights. Though I agree with them, I acknowledge that not all societies have these views, thus making rights a governmental standard. They put them in place but our rights would be different if we were living in another country.
Fanatic4FreeThought (December 31, 1969 at 11:59 pm)
A government can't take away a right, its yours from the moment of your conception. Governments can either respect your rights or not, this is what determines if a government is just or unjust. We all have a fundamental and perfectly natural desire for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. It is from this natural desire that are rights come. Societies have evolved and fortunately we as a species have gotten better at balancing the rights of all human beings, but we aren't perfect at it.

Isn't a right granted by gov't though? I mean what constitutes a right outside of a governmental or socially constructed system. Our gov't can take our right away whenever they want and they are the ones in charge of enforcing liberty and other rights.

This is the philosophy of the future. This will be self-evident to our grandchildren the way "democracy" is taken for granted today.

Liberty and Freedom are not the same. Liberty is granted and Freedom is a right. See Occult world of Commerce. Next... we don't need any ism's Or Philosophy, everyone knows what is right. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you!!! The fall of Adam and Eve was to seperate from devine knowing in exchange for knowledge. To know is to be connected to all that is. Stop trying and see truth. It's in every heart. |
