That is wrong. the turning point (even though it wasnt much of a turn at the time) was caws of the Austin-McMahon rivalry in 1998.

This is when the downfall of WCW started. It got to the point that the freaking founders of the original NWO (Hall and Nash) weren't even in the group anymore. The NWO Wolfpac or whatever they called it couldn't hold the jockstrap of the original. WCW went bankrupt because of this one single move. They had dominated WWF up until this time. They used every storyline possible and ran out of new ways to make the show cool.

yea it is! Bret heart is like the "American" you would think he wouldnt join the bad side NWO. but he did even the anouncer said it "I cant belive it he joined" the goverment is smart. I read somewhere "we gave you many clues but you never listened to them" o yea thats right jesus no?

they ran the NWO angle into the ground. Guess they felt like they had to "bring the band back together" because the NWO angle was the most successful angle and helped WCW win the ratings.

Nightphantom exactly, who wanted to see Vincent and the rest of the nwo rejects fighting for control of nwo hollywood, Bischoff might have been a genius for creating the nwo, but look what happened, it became pathetic after a while and Russo succeeded in copying Bischoff's creation in the form of DX. It's ironic that Russo copied it (DX) and failed to resurrect the nwo. It makes me wonder if Russo was really a talented writer or just a hack.
