The problem is that while the Fed, maybe, possibly, could be used properly for stimulus, it is "private within government" and is not subject to any real congressional oversight or audits. The Fed is then used by the families and individuals that own stock of it, which is not openly traded, to control the money supply, print 'money' out of thin air, and loan it out to the gov and other banks AT INTEREST.

Don should interview Chuck Baldwin of The Constitution Party. He also believes the Fed to be unconstitutional. I think it would be a great interview.

i'm in favor social security--though it could be reformed considerably (like made more progressive and put into in investment accounds) (see last statement), prebated sales tax, and nationalized health insurance (because the state pays anyway for the ininsured). as such, mild inflation isn't that bad.
