And the reasoning of the average brain dead CONservative is that "dey fightin fo merica's intrests", which isn't even true as we lose more and more soverignty and prosperity due to outsourcing, and open border, the crashing dollar, the loss of industry, globalization, the NAU/NAFTA Superhighway, an insane budget, massive foreign aid, military in 127 different countries, foreign corporations buying up America, and a pointless war.

This "fringe element" has become the CENTRAL element of the republican party, and its only remaining ideological competitor for that title is the religious fascists. The remainder of the party? Split evenly between corporatists and militant racists, but the corporatists have the most money so they get the loudest voice. And all are rampant hypocrites.And that is the modern republican party. Who the FUCK could be proud of THAT?!
