@ContinentalArmy1776 Unfortunately, this famous quote is rather unknown to the public today. Jefferson knew the dangers of the bankers right from the get go. It is rather ironic the US has turned into the very country it had a revolution against. Even Benjamin Franklin stated that the real reason for the American Revolution occured when British Parliament outlawed the use of Continental Script, that allowed the 13 Colonies to be free from the Bank of England (ie the bankers).

@gomezevelyn Taking from the rich to give to the poor is socialism and theft. That's what the Income Tax Act has done, which is unconstitutional. As Abe Lincoln said; "You cannot help the poor by taking from the rich." Rich folks are the ones who create businesses and invest in business, which makes them able to employ people and provide needed products.
