What is this "speculative fever" to which Greenspan refers?How's it going to END when the feds keep bailing out the sharks. The market is being ruined by speculators and the fed reserve keeps putting cash in their kitty and the market is still collapsing.Does anyone realize how many will see ALL their retirement money wiped out because of this criminal action?"$350 Bil goes to bailout foreign speculators and investors."A man commented recently his trust fund has lost 50K and he withdraw it!

Above the law would be closer to diplomatic immunity. They still have a framework (created by law) from which they must operate with in. Inside that framework they can do anything they want with no oversight. I too think the nation would have been better off with out the Fed. But "above the law" has a different meaning and he did NOT say that. If you want change you first need to get your facts right.

Greenspan should go RE-READ his own Writings of 50 years ago. FEDERAL RESERVE BANK is a FAILURE. BECAUSE... the temptation to issue endless FIAT paper with no REGARD can not beresisted when there is NO intrinsic ACCOUNTABILITY... -> Which is why RON PAUL wasand remains correct. WE MUST GO BACK TO A gold, silver, hard asset currency, but in the process we should hang the theives who have robbed us the Member Bankds of the FED.

He doesn't say the Fed is above the law. He said they basically have no oversight. That too is troubling, but different from being "above the law".
