BoyintheMachine: I couldn't agree more with your comment. Those plugged in the matrix and those who are not is just another form of the division I mentioned in my previous comment. 'Divide and rule' It's a cliché saying but it's working superbly on us. I think we have become to self centred to focus on a higher goal for mankind. The 'it's not my immediate problem' mentality is having tremendous ramifications for all of us. Enough internet prostesting will get us so far, time to act? I think so.

xmarksit: Unfortunately, it's the downtrodden and oppressed parts of the population who are more likely to 'Wake Up' and see how things truly are. Othwise, just as in The Matrix with Morpheus' speech, the people who are dependant on the system [those who benefit] will fight to protect it [even if it is evil].

lumpfish99: Don't get mad at them. They are still plugged into 'the Matrix'. Until these people are put into a position where they can experience the reality of the situation for themselves, they won't believe. Also becareful. People who are still 'plugged in' can be dangerous. Back in the day people would be institionalized for merely saying something or holding a particuliar belief or opinion. This is how the walking dead punish people 'who have eyes to see'.

Its not only that the whole topic is so large that it has taken me months to research what I know enough to believe there is some dark shit going on, most people just dont have the time or the inclination....I have a hard enough time trying to get my girlfriend to listen to this stuff, she just wants to watch tv....in fact I told her that the fireworks at the olympics this year were faked when it was live and the first thing she said was "So?" people dont understand the implications.

I agree partly. However, I think a certain amount of us know vaguely or explicitly what's going on and have received enough knowledge/information. Now to act...when one tries to act or speak out about this he/she finds out how tightly packed the prison bars are and how disempowered we really are. An alternative power is unity of the people but sadly we are sooo divided (religion, income, race, status) from each other and I could probably say divided from our ownselves.
