I called Congress about FICO Scores and how it is preventing me from making a living, FICO Scores. FICO=Fair Isaac Corporation. Their response is that they just manuf the machines and program it for their clients. This system drives people into debt. They can not save.

yeah, you're right...I have several old Boy Scout books from the 40's and 50's....they actually have some pretty good stuff in them. Also if you can find the Fox Fire books, they're excellent as well. I go to a lot of used book stores and am always looking for old woodcraft books and stuff, I've found quite a few real treasures...information wise.

I forget what the progect is, I think its living off the grid where a bunch of people are getting together living off the land w/ a barter system. I think thats a pretty good option, but my family values over rank logic, so until we are in agreement about whats happening I'm staying put. oh yeah you could buy a motorcyle their poping up a lot where I live. 1more thing boyscout handbooks suck unless their old. The ppl who make the books took out a lot of good material-which isn't surprizing

It wouldn't surprise me in the least. I wont' be able to afford to drive soon, so even the library will be out of reach...lol. I'm totally capable of living "off the land" so to speak and I would encourage everyone to start picking up books on edible and medicinal plants and stuff...never bad info to have tucked away in your head
