*oops, I meant she, not he, lol. I don't know much about the other works of Poe, but in The Raven, Lenore, the narrator's lover, is mentioned a lot. I don't know. maybe Lenore got taken to Russia and died (quoth the raven, "Nevermore")? lol x_x

well...if we're gonna go by the song title explanation...it seems like is singing to a lover, questioning if he will ever return, as if he had been taken to a gulag in Soviet Russia, perhaps never to return (hence the link to a kremlin). and if you read Utada's lyrics to this song, there are a lot of references to Edgar Allen Poe's "The Raven". so if you read The Raven and tie that all with the Russian reference...

you mean as in crimson? that would be кримсон, not Кремль.I don't know. if you know a lot of Russian history then maybe the title of this song also has something to do with Russia.

Erm... Utada has never toured the UK! Who told you that?
wl1000jae (October 1, 2008 at 2:33 pm)
hmm doesn't kremlin mean dark red? maybe not...xp don't kno lol

actually, kremlin, or "Кремль", is a Russian word for "castle", "palace", "fortress", "citadel" etc. Have you ever been to the Moscow Kremlin?I don't know how kremlins have to do with the song though. ^^; I think it actually has more to do with "The Raven" by Edgar Allen Poe.

Its awesome how she sounds so good live. Sometimes i would say that she is even better live then on a cd. Just something about her live performance especially this concert.
